Logistics audit is directed from the identification of real problems, through specific targeting to the optimization design itself. The purpose of the logistics audit is, in addition to a clear detailed description of the current logistics, primarily to summarize the "bottlenecks" found in the logistics system and suggestions for their elimination
Audit of logistics processes is carried out within 21 days. It includes the submission of concrete proposals for process innovations, time savings, financial savings, human resource savings and process performance improvements.
This step is the first and basic step to show company management where slowdowns, overcharging, duplication, or waste of company resources are occurring.
Detailed mapping of existing processes involves identifying the steps in the process, the people and systems involved, and the materials and information used in the process.
The result of this step is a measurement of the state-of-the-art, a detailed analysis of the current state, and a depiction of the real bottlenecks
Based on a detailed mapping of the ongoing logistics flows, we will propose 2-3 process optimization alternatives.
In this step, we seek a global optimum that represents an acceptable solution for society.
As part of the alternatives, we will present:
Before implementing the necessary logistics process innovations, we will provide the audit client with the exact terms of reference for implementing the improvements and instructions for the internal staff in charge of implementing the changes.
In this step, we are ready to supervise the entire process of change implementation as an external authority according to the requirements of the audit client.
In this step, we act as an integrator of the proposed change solution. Once the mandate for the comprehensive implementation of the changes has been awarded, we take over the function of supplier and implementer of process changes, supply of new storage technologies, handling equipment and other logistics systems, including software. We deliver all of this in a bespoke manner according to the outputs of the logistics audit.
We understand that business process optimization is a continuous process that requires constant analysis, design and implementation of changes.
As part of the change measures, we are able to integrate the company's own employees, who are key to the implementation and success of the entire optimization process. We are able to provide the necessary qualification, e.g. for the internal logistics department, as required.
